Cd Timecode Traktor Scratch Pro 2 How To Set UpCompatibility with macOS Big Sur will not yet ensure compatibility with Apple Silicon processors. I have a problem, when i load up a track and cue it on the first beat using my cdj 800mk2 it cues ok.but then if i press play or cue the beat jumps and does not play correctly. Another issue is, if i set a cue point on the first beat then hold the cue button on my cdj and then let go it doesnt go back to the cue point, it just stays at the point in the track were i release it.same as if i play the track then press the cue button it doesnt actually go back to the cue point i originally set I have also tryed it in both absolute and relative mode but no difference. It used to work in versions prior to 1.2.x, but since that, we (the userbase in general) have been waiting for NI to fix it. ![]() For software, all of these mean the same thing - there is no timecode, the track has been stopped. If you wish to see the actual position in the computers screen, perhaps the easiest way to achieve this is to learn to doubletap the CUE. That way the software will get a signal from the cuepoint also, and is able to update the screen position accordingly. Yes, it is a workaround, but all timecode controlled software works in a similar manner. You would need to go back to 1.1.2 - and that version had its own set of problems (most of which were fixed into 1.2-version) so I wouldnt suggest that either. ![]() If, on the other hand, you mean that the timecode cuepoint is not precise, that is part of the bug mentioned earlier, which - as said - were still waiting a fix for. A very irritating bug for those of us who use timecode CDs for control (apparently, based on the discussions on this forum, this does not affect timecode vinyl to such a large degree). Thanks again. I miss that tapping to the beat part aswell.but i still like the good old vinyl way lol. Must download and try it out (though I highly doubt if it will have any noticeable effect on the inaccurate cuepoint since that bug was introduced by a software update. When you use a normal cd I assume the CDJ is using the timestamp info from playback to move the laser andor sampling the audio into memory for such functions. Correct. Are you running the latest firmware I didnt see any direct fixes on the Pioneer site for such issues but just thought I would check. It would be interesting to have someone record the output of the timecode when pressing the cue button to set cuepoints on the cdj and then jumping to them on the cdj. It doesnt make sense that it works correctly on a Windows system and not on OSX. Cd Timecode Traktor Scratch Pro 2 Upgrade Does NothingI think NI know about this because a number of people have complained about it and nothing has been done The new timecode upgrade does nothing either. If someone is willing to record the timecode output from their CDJ, we can start tackling the problem. Lets work on the cue issues not by gathering audio samples, etc. This is what I would like to see, (Username)TraktorTC001(Brand)(Model).wav ie: DJQUARTZTraktorTC001PioneerCDJ800MKII.wav or (Username)TraktorTC002CDJ800KII.wav 001 The original timecode shipped with Traktor, 002 The new timecode download Upload it via YouSendIt, SendSpace or ZShare and PM the link.
